Sea Turtle Sculpture Toolkit

The C-STEM Sea Turtle Sculpture Toolkit introduces students to the concept of social sculpture—the idea that creativity exists in everyone, and that every aspect of life can be approached as art. This hands-on toolkit helps educators teach students how to apply artistic expression, teamwork, and problem-solving to address real-world environmental challenges.

Using the Sea Turtle Sculpture Challenge curriculum and toolkit, students design and build sculptures that highlight ocean conservation, sustainability, and creative innovation. This project-based learning experience encourages students to use recycled and repurposed materials, promoting environmental stewardship while deepening their understanding of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) principles.
