Policy:

It is the policy of C-STEM to require instructors to disclose proprietary interest in any product, instrument, device, or material discussed during C-STEM training events, and to disclose the source of any third-party compensation related to the presentation. Instructors are required to disclose this information in the form of a verbal announcement at the commencement of the C-STEM training session.

Process/Procedures:

C-STEM will disclose, in advance of any learning event, any professional’s proprietary interest in any product, instrument, device, service, or material to be discussed during the learning event, as well as the source of any third-party compensation related to the presentation. This policy applies to both C-STEM employees and contractors.

Instructors with proprietary interest of any kind are required to refrain from product or service endorsements of any kind and shall agree not to advertise, promote, endorse or market their interest during educational instruction at any time.
