The C-STEM Film Challenge Teacher Training empowers educators to teach students how to use video production, storytelling, and digital media to inspire awareness and positive change in their communities.
In this hands-on professional development experience, teachers learn strategies for guiding students through every stage of the filmmaking process—from concept development and storyboarding to filming, editing, and presentation. Using the C-STEM Film Challenge curriculum, students collaborate to produce short films that address real-world issues, highlight social impact, and showcase their creativity and voice.
Participants will gain practical tools for integrating media arts, technology, and storytelling into their classrooms, helping students develop key 21st-century skills, including communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
